All,
Several people come to this website (and others) with the sole purpose of helping people locate someone who is missing from their life. I've personally helped a handful of people on here over the last few months locate family members and old friends. I have to admit it's getting a little frustrating as people seldom come back to their post to confirm/deny the information we are providing.
If people visiting this site for the first time saw a success story here or there, they would be more likely to post.
The information provided in the initial message is also, often times, very lacking. It is best to provide full name, estimated age, last known address (minimum of state), relatives names, friends names, college attended, career field, appearance, etc. The more information, the better.
I'll continue trying to help a few people each month. I'll stop in here once in a while and/or you can make a request via my website:

Click on the "people search" tab and be sure to mention "People Looking For People", so I know to come here to post my findings. I currently have the time to do 4 or 5 free ones a month. I pay for the services I use to locate people, so I can't offer much more than that.
Regards,
Matt
